A Chinese online publication Huanqiu intensified rumors of a new bigger iPhone model(s) from Apple to be unveiled sooner than anticipated. It is said to be that a debut of the iPhone Phablets as a separate product line in May is to pop up in the market. On the other hand, these new rumored devices will not be in terms with the iPhone 6 smartphones, which will be released later this year as predicted, as enthusiasts hear September.
These phablets were rumored to have a display larger than 5 inches and a 20 nanometer processor manufactured by the TMSC. Either a firsthand A8 processor or restored A7 CPU. Likewise, Samsung manufactures the present 64-bit A7 processor used by iPhone 5’s and 2013 iPad models itself, in a HKMG 28 nanometer process.
A report from ET news, a South Korean publication, mentioned that the release of iPhone 6 will be on September and it will be slimmer than ever. Same story also stated that prices of iPhone 5’s will drop down to $100 in May for reasons unstated, perhaps the reason of a phablet product line launch will indeed clarify the price drop.
Apple, however, is silent on rumors, whether any of these new devices are on set. The mystery still remains on the confirmation of the certainty of the launch of the new devices.
But what’s certain is several reports now slates that Apple will release a bigger iPhone this year, alongside with the effort on taking smartphones with larger displays on the market.
