We’ve seen Alden’s stint in the recently concluded GMA Primetime series “Carmela” as a softened rugged, bad boy. Now, he’s ready to soar heights as he recently revealed that this bad boy role will scale up into the big screen in his upcoming mainstream independent film project entitled “Cain At Abel.”
Filming it with fellow GMA talent Aljur Abrenica, Alden cracked that he will rise in the film as an antagonist, proving now to his fans that he’ll move into roles that will change their view of him as a performer.
“Sobrang sama ko po dito. There are scenes which at first, di ko akalain na magagawa ko pero nagawa ko. The kontrabida is really unreasonable so it was a challenge,” says Alden Richards attesting that he is now ready for more matured roles in future projects.
With a little hint of how bad will his character be in the film, he tipped-off a self-described “wild” intimate love scene with Ms. Anika Gonzales. Cain At Abel will be released in theaters October this year.
