50 Smartest Celebrities on Twitter – SMOG

Models, actors, and musicians are sometimes perceived as unintelligent because of the characters they play or the stigma of their careers — but there are a number of celebs out there who surprise us with their smarts. Celebrities who not only have beauty, but brains as well! Working, thinking brains, that are not just booksmart! Though some of these celebrities have some others tweeting for them. It’s a fact!

Anyways, Time Magazine released just today the 50 Smartest Celebrities on Twitter. Topping the list is none other than the “Wolf of Wall Street” actor Leonardo DiCaprio with 7.5 grade level. Time used a popular reading comprehension test known as Simple Measure Of Gobbledygook (SMOG) for their study to analyze the reading levels of the tweets produced by the 500 most-followed celebrities on Twitter. The SMOG test measures the number of three-syllable words used in the text of a tweet to calculate the years of education required to understand it.

Aside from these famous Hollywood celebrities, two Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and A.R.Rahman and Filipina actress Anne Curtis joined the list.
