Galvez Refuses that Azcueta’s Death was Love-Related

As published on a site called Coconuts Manila, Jake Galvez, the live-in partner for 10 years of the late Lindt Dale Azcueta dispelled the suspicion that cause of the latter’s death was love-related.

He said that they did not have a major fight before the incident, and that his death wasn’t love related, despite a cryptic post on his Instagram account where he said, “Life is indeed a roller-coaster ride. Enjoy it. Thank you everyone for making my ride an awesome one. Goodbye for now. See you all in Hogwarts. #Potterhead #Geek #iPhoneForever I know you guys will miss me. Love can kill.”

Coconuts Manila exchanged SMS with makeup artist Jake Galvez, a columnist at Manila Bulletin and vice-president at Tony Galvez School of Cosmetology, “We were okay. We were fine.

“He was very stressed with work. He has been complaining [about it].”

Galvez’s lover, Azcueta, the social media manager of a Telco company, was believed to have fallen from the ninth floor of a five-star hotel in Pasay City and found dead on Saturday, July 5.

Azcueta, 30, a BS Actuarial Science graduate from UP-Diliman and a DOST scholar who graduated with honors, was a well-loved individual and an efficient employee, as described by people who closely knew him when he was still alive.

Galvez on the other hand, apart from being a makeup artist, is also host of iTunes Podcast show titled ‘Becky Nights’. Becky Nights is a talk show for the beckies and beckies at heart, which includes Matt Gozun as the fashion stylist, Buern Rodriguez as the hair expert with the Divine Lee as the Becky Queen, and Galvez as the beauty artist.

Friends and family of Azcueta are mourning on his untimely and mysterious demise. On the morning of July 5, he said his final goodbye on Twitter: “Dalekis going offline.”

On July 6, PublicityAsia (@PRAsiaWorldwide) posted an invite on Twitter that read: “Please join us on Wed | July 9 for a farewell trending campaign in memory of our @enjoyGLOBE colleague @dalekins #RIP.”
