Manila, Philippines – Google Philippines has launched a contest that will give an opportunity to Filipino kids out there to be creative both online and offline by designing their own logo for Google Philippines homepage.
Dubbed as the “Doodle 4 Google (D4G)”, the contest aims to find natural talents and give scholarships among the Filipino youth.
With the theme “What can I do for the Philippines?,” the competition is open to all Filipino students and even those who were not in formal schooling aged 5 to 17. They are divided into four groups in different age brackets, 5-8 years old, 9-11 years old, 12-14 years old and 15-17 years old. The contender must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines on the date of submission of doodle entries.
Aside from the one shot chance of seeing his doodle artwork on the Google Philippines homepage for 24 hours, big prizes await the worthy and talented young Filipino artists.
