The 2014 list of Richest People in the Philippines is once again dominated by old-timers but they are much wealthier now compared to last year. 89-year-old magnate Henry Sy and his family are the top 97th billionaires in the world and are leading the 10 Filipinos and their families who made it to the Forbes billionaires’ list for 2014.

Here are the Top 10 Filipinos who made it to the 2014 billionaires’ list:

1. Henry Sy of SM Investments Corporation at 97th spot with $11.4 billion net worth
2. Lucio Tan of Asia Brewery and Fortune Tobacco at 227th spot with $6.1 billion net worth
3. Andrew Tan of Megaworld and Alliance Global Group at 319th spot with a $4.7-billion net worth
4. Enrique Razon Jr. of the International Container Terminal Services Inc. and Bloomberry Resorts Corp. – 354th – $4.2 billion
5. John Gokongwei Jr. of JG Summit – 388th – $3.9 billion
6. Construction magnate David Consunji – 483rd – $3.3 billion
7. George Ty of Metrobank group and GT Capital – 764th spot – $2.3 billion
8. Tony Tan Caktiong of Jollibee group – 1046th – $1.7-billion net worth
9. Stock broker and car dealership magnate Robert Coyiuto Jr. – 1154th spot – $1.5-billion net worth
10. Andrew Gotianun of Filinvest Group – 1565th – with $1 billion-net worth

All these businessmen, except for Gokongwei, were also included in Forbes’ 2013 billionaires’ list. It was a first time for Gokongwei to be included in the list.
