Nicki Minaj was forced to awkwardly hold her LBD together while belting ‘Bang Bang’ onstage with Jessie J. and Ariana Grande at Sunday night’s MTV VMAs as she suffered a wardrobe malfunction due to a stubborn front zipper on her long-sleeved velvet gown. Minaj first wore a green top and shorts, rapping, dancing and exciting the crowd — except Rita Ora, who stared blankly when the camera panned by. But when Minaj performed “Bang Bang,” the rapper was far more subdued as she held the front of her outfit together after a long split appeared.
She later addressed the issue on Instagram saying: “God is good. As long as a nipple didn’t come out to play, I’m fine. Love my team. CASPER, Rushka, Adam, Oscar, Joyce, Gee… Many more to name but they’re all winners! No weak links.
