She accepted it but later backed out after seeking her father’s opinion. This challenge drew controversy when senators Pia Cayetano and Nancy Binay, along with Philippine Commission on Women called the attention of the MTRCB to investigate the episode.
ABS-CBN issued an apology later that same month.
