Donna Cruz, though related to the Cruz clan which includes the big names such as Tirso, Sheryl, Sunshine, Geneva, Rayver, and Rodjun, has created her own name in the Philippine showbiz industry. She became a prominent public figure in the 1990’s through her acting and singing.
In 1998, she married her fiance Yong Larrazabal, ann ophthalmologist from Cebu. Shen then relocated and has since live with her family there. Years after that, she had managed to complete a computer degree in Cebu Doctors College.
Despite being busy with her kids and family, she never says no to guesting and TV appearances. In 2006, she returned in the spotlight together with her 2 kids in a Jollibee commercial. Then, a year after that, she sang the Pamper’s Christmas Ad commercial. Her last TV role was in 2011 in the sitcom Daldalita.
Last August 30, 2014, she took the limelight once again as she belts out her own version of “Let It Go.” The 55-second video was posted on her Donna Cruz (The Original Multimedia Star) FB page. The short clip was self-recorded using her phone in front of a mirror.
People of the 90’s era have not really forgotten her as it immediately reached 6, 309 shares and 44, 164 likes within days. She says,
