Coming at the heels of another tropical storm (TS), Luis, TS Mario has brought heavy rains and floors across Luzon and the Visayas. The rains continue to bring more water to the already saturated areas; thus, causing rivers to rise and the dams near overflowing.
Many areas are already placed under a state of calamity. With the rains still heavy across many areas, people are advised to be alert at all times, especially those located close to the rivers. Classes and work in government offices have already been suspended earlier.
