Without a lot of cash to fund her jetsetter dreams, Ju Peng of Shanghai, 19, devised a plan to offer herself to ‘temporary boyfriends’ in a city she wants to visit, in exchange for free vacations.
She posted an ad on China’s popular social media network, Weibo, detailing the qualities and qualifications she is looking for in her ‘temporary boyfriends’ Of course, he has to be RICH! After all, he has to fund her trips and make her enjoy the best vacation in the city.
Also, he has to be good looking, tall (1.75 m or 5’9”), and younger than 30.
In exchange, the ‘temporary boyfriend’ gets to spend the night.
The ad explained:
They will fund my transport to their city and all my expenses while I am there and they need to be generous.
In return, they get a whole night with me, my undivided attention, and a chance to show themselves off in the company of a truly beautiful girl.
It was immediately clear if there were any people who answered her ad, but she was slammed for her actions. People said her plan was akin to prostitution, but disguised in a way that made it look sophisticated and adventurous.
Ju did not let the bashers bother her, saying, “It is sort of like hitchhiking. It’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
