“A baby with my deceased fiancé”
In Tucson, Arizona, 22 year old woman named Stephanie Lucas will soon have a child, through her dead fiancé’s sperm.
After a horrible motorcycle accident that left 25-year-old Cameron Robinett brain dead, his family was faced with the difficult decision to turn off his life support machines. Whilst all the way, Stephanie Lucas, Robinett’s 22-year-old fiancée, devastated with memories of the kind man whom she’d planned to build a family with, thought of an impeccable plan.
As she realized that everything Cameron wanted was nothing but children, the family decided to go on with a sperm extraction procedure which approximately costs $9,000 .
Realizing both their families cannot fund the money needed for the procedure, Lucas sought help from the internet at a GoFundMe page in which she explained the quite dire circumstance.
In the fundraiser she entitled “A baby with my deceased fiancé,” she wrote:
In leu of flowers or gifts to honor Cameron, we’re asking you to make a donation to actually bring a part of Cameron, the amazing, handsome, silly, guy that I loved with my whole heart back to life!
Fortunately, people took pity and strangers began to respond in her dilemma. Lucas received $11,000 in less than a day. Up to date, she has already raised way more than over $15,000 from her $7,000 need.
Lucas, overwhelmingly grateful, updated the page, saying:
I will never be able to say it enough — thank you for your support. It is everything.
Her fiancé’s sperm can be kept in storage for a year until whenever the time is right for Lucas.
Moreover, while Lucas was going through Robinett’s clothes, she wrote that she found a baby-sized Seattle Seahawks jersey her fiancé purchased which she already forgot about. She takes it as a silver lining above all that has happened that he’ll be guarding their child.
In memory of her dead fiancee, she wanted to extract the guy’s sperm so she can have a baby from him. So it should be “So she can have his baby” not “her baby”.
She will have her baby even with anybody.
But she specifically wanted a baby from her dead fiancee! So it should be “his baby” refering to her bf’s sperm.
Erratum: Post Title ‘Her Baby’ changed to ‘His Baby’ referring to Mr. Cameron Robinett’s sperm.
