Blake Beckford, a male fitness model who has been diagnosed of an inflammatory bowel disease, is now sharing his struggle and amazing triumph.
He was committed to work in bodybuilding and fitness industry even as a young teenager, but his lethargy and weight loss became a great hindrance. Consequently, Beckford was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, an inflammatory bowel disease and he was told to give up his dream.
For 10 years Beckford struggled and agonized from chronic pain and undetermined bowel movement. He underwent a surgery in 2012 to finally remove his colon and push the end of his small intestine into a colostomy bag. As a result, Beckford became bedridden for the next six weeks.
However, Beckford carried on and hit the gym once more. He discovered various ways help himself in fitness routines. This include doing yoga, walking and cycling. He even set the seal on that his diet should be strictly nutritious.
As a sweet result, Beckford has now the body of an Olympian god.
For Beckford, it may have been a tough road. In reality, it’s really far challenging for a well person to sculpt and tone his body, let alone a person suffering from this kind of disease. Beckford proved his doctors wrong with his strong will and transformation. He says referring to his colostomy bag, “The bag has given him a second chance.”
