Groom Cancels Wedding after Bride Pranks Him by Arriving 50 YEARS OLDER

The excited groom was not amused when his beautiful bride pranks him by arriving looking 50 years older. Qing Kao, 26, pranked her groom by adding grey streaks to her hair and using make-up to look old.

Guo Chien, the groom, did not get the joke, however. The prank sparked a very public shouting match where the groom repeatedly told the now-crying bride to go home and wash off the offending make-up.

Because Kao still wanted to at least have some photographs taken of them together, while she looked old, the angry groom marched off. He hailed a passing taxi and sped off, without giving time for the bride to change to her real attire and look her beautiful self again.

Shocked by her groom’s reaction, the bride slumped on the sidewalk and cried her heart out. Chien did not come back, even when Kao waited for several minutes. So, she also took a taxi for home, all by herself.

It was not known why there were no relatives or other people to help the bride, but they were probably planning a civil ceremony at a judge’s office before the groom stormed off in anger over the prank.

According to Mirror UK, the bride and groom have not yet spoken with each other again. There was also no news whether they still planned to continue with their wedding plans.

So, to brides-to-be out there, never ever try to prank your groom with something as crazy as this – not on the day of your wedding, anyway.

  1. You end your article on a sexist note. If she pranks her husband and he storms off, she’s better off without him! It clearly was a test and joke, and men like that need to be alone. He sucks and you do to for your trite, inspid position on the topic.

    • Talk about irresponsbile journalism. You guys really think that this is a good opportunity to make sexist notes? You guys have got to do better than that.

    • I’ve got to agree with you Nonya, ending an article with a sexist note isn’t going to make the situation better. If the groom reacted to the prank that way, it simply means that he’s not strong enough to accept any challenges he could face in his marriage, including that one. And yes, whoever wrote this article really did a bad job because of their trite, inspid position on the topic.

  2. They’re both stupid.
A bride should never prank her groom like that.
    C’mon! It’s a very special occasion.
I would get angry if my husband-to-be would prank me like that.
And the groom, gosh. He’s such an idiot for erupting like a volcano. He should have asked the girl calmly what the fck she’s doing on that day.

They really should not get married. They just don’t know each other well to get married.

  3. This was written on a biased, prejudiced view on what had happened. If you look into it more, you will find that most of the Chinese spectators will side with the man (for good reason). This article presents the man as simply angry, and unforgiving. However, if you watch the video you will find that it was not the groom who was unforgiving but the bride. He did not want the photos of his wedding day to be like that, so he pleaded with the woman who would not stop accussing him of not loving her and swearing at him. Also, he did not just march off in anger. He was cursed at and TOLD TO by the bride, who later cries and badmouths the man for not really loving her and being a former womanizer. The article may sound convincing, but it doesn’t misleadingly presents the situation and is unfortunately being read by English speakers, who I assume generally cannot understand Chinese. Please be careful.
