Albuquerque – A 34-year-old woman tried to sneak a hand gun into the Metropolitan Detention Centre through a very unusual method – by hiding it in her genitals.
The prison staff was informed about a weapon found in a bin, which led them to think the gun was hidden in Josephine McAllister’s vagina.
When she was arrested for the possession of stolen credit cards and resisting arrest last month, she told the police officers that she concealed the deadly weapon in her waistband.
But the confused officers cannot believe her statement.
Despite that, she continued to claim that the gun was in her waistband the entire time she was being checked by the prison officers.
Later on, they found out that she did not tell the truth fearing it may bring her more charges.
Officer Simon Drobik said they can only be careful adding that the person’s private parts are out of the question. “We cannot search a body cavity,” he said.
