Attention-seeker?
Aside from the P20,000 offer, Shane was also known for her crazy photos and videos on FB, stuff that should have remained private. It seems like she enjoys sharing every bit of her life for all the people to see – even sharing videos of herself in the shower and other compromising stuff.
A lot of people called Shane as an attention-seeker who enjoyed having bashers and haters because they kept her Facebook profile active. It did not matter that these people were always saying bad things about her, scolding her. What mattered to her is that she had lots of followers – haters or supporters, they all count as followers.
When the story of P20,000 offer went viral, she actually posted a happy status saying she gained more than a thousand followers after that – even if most of them were haters.
This twisted rationalization had a lot of people puzzled. Why would anyone enjoy having haters?
Going crazy?
According to Factsify, a psychiatrist said it is possible that Shane is going crazy or might go crazy in the future. Right now, she is suffering bouts of depression yet she is trying to show a different side while posting on her multiple Facebook pages. Could this be a split personality disorder?
The same site also shared the account of a person who claimed to be Shane’s friend. The story is depressing. It helps us understand why Shane did what she did.
Poverty drove Shane to seek a job abroad. She became an OFW, leaving her husband and daughter so they can have a better life. For four years, she toiled hard and regularly sent her earnings back home. It was only after four years that she discovered her husband had a new wife, Shane’s friend told PinoyTrending.
This discovery drove Shane to bouts of depression, especially upon learning that her husband ran away with their own daughter and his new wife – never to return again. She lost both her husband and daughter. Great was her pain that she did not eat for three days.
Afterwards, everything went crazy. It was as if Shane wanted to forget about the betrayal and wanted to affirm that she was still desirable to other men. She began posting odd photos and videos on Facebook, actively seeking men to love.
What’s more alarming is that Shane is working in the Middle East where such things are not just frowned upon but are actually illegal! PinoyTrending had gotten wind of reports that Shane is now under investigation and that her real Facebook account has already been taken down.
A lot of us judged Shane harshly, calling her crazy names and laughing at her antics yet behind this happy-go-lucky-devil-may-care attitude lies the depressed, broken-hearted woman who is battling a truly painful experience. We’re hoping she won’t get into any more trouble with the authorities in the Middle East and that she be taken back to the Philippines without getting punished there for her actions.
I understand her situation, but her actions were questionable and morally wrong. She could’ve seek help from the doctors or her friends.
