A cheating couple thought the tinted glass windows of their office would shield them from view while they enjoyed a romp after hours; instead, they unwittingly gave a live show performance for the patrons of a bar across the street!
According to witness accounts from the patrons of Carlton Bar and Eatery, they first noticed the couple kissing at the Marsh Ltd office, an insurance company in Christchurch in New Zealand. They thought nothing about it until they saw the scene becoming more intense.
The couple kept the lights on, so they were in full view of the bar patrons, many of whom whipped out their phones to document the unusual live show entertainment. Soon, photos of the couple began circulating on the web as the bar patrons shared live tweets/social media posts of what is happening inside the office.
A few minutes after sharing a passionate kiss, the couple moved to the back of the room, completely unaware that the people at the pub across the street were anticipating their next move. When the woman’s tights pulled down and the man lowered his head, around 50 people in the bar already had their faces pressed on the windows while cheering the man on.
Even with the patrons’ loud shouts and yells of approval, the couple did not appear to hear them. With the patrons more interested in the live show than the music, the band eventually stopped playing and joined the scramble for a spot at the window.
A patron later said it got a little boring when the couple went on for around 30 minutes. They soon drifted back to their seats but still glancing at the couple from time to time. When the two were finished, the band played a cheeky song while the patrons cheered as hard as they could. At that moment, the two faced the window, seemingly looking at the bar but did not show signs of seeing the party people cheering for them.
Afterwards, when they were fully clothed again, the two celebrated with wine.
Photos and videos of the romp quickly spread like wildfire across various social media. This led to the identification of the couple who turned out to be enjoying an extra-marital affair. The man had a wife while the woman was first reported to be engaged; though her supposed fiancé told local news reporters that they had already broken up even before the office incident.
Negative Repercussions
Some sites believe the fiancé simply said they had broken up so he could save face as he did admit he even spent the night at the woman’s house after the incident and drove her to her car the following morning; though he was not aware at the time about the office romp.
As for the man, his wife had found out about his extramarital affairs on Facebook when she saw the photos and videos widely shared on social media. According to reports, she has been crying non-stop ad refused to speak with the man even as he tried to ask forgiveness for his actions.
The raunchy couple could also lose their respective jobs at the insurance company, especially because the company’s name was dragged into the controversy. Rabobank was also slightly affected because they owned the building where the office is located.
