SINGAPORE- It’s finger lickin’ good. Not just it deserves praise for good food but it’s staff is deliciously awesome too!
Muza, one of the service staff working at KFC Bukit Merah, had seen paying and serving food to a partially blind elderly man.
Dora Ong, who saw how compassionate the staff was as she unselfishly assisted the old man to his table and brought his food, posted the good deed made by Muza on February 20.
According to Ong, the old man, who was seen selling tissue nearby, entered the fast food and ordered a piece of chicken.
In fact, what the friendly crew did was to upgrade the ordinary menu into a full meal with drinks and fries.
The post garnered positive comments and over 2,000 shares as of writing. Ong feel amazed as everyone was inspired to share and spread the good deed of the staff, even its employer KFC. The restaurant lauded Muza’s act, saying “We want to extend a quick shoutout to Ms Muza, one of our service staff from KFC Bukit Merah, for going the extra #sogood mile by bringing smiles to our lovely customers! We hope she’s got you smiling, too! Thanks for capturing this moment for us, Dora Ong!”
Good karma attracts good things. As a return to Muza’s endearing affection, Ong decided to give her an ang bao amounting S$10. Her good deed paid off really well.
Ong, who has been based in Kuala Lumpur and was back in Singapore to spend some time with her parents, said she was deeply moved by the kind gestures.”At the end of the day, going home is very heartwarming, and to witness an incident like this, to me, really brings Singapore to a new level of humanity.
