Earlier this month, a video of an adorable three-year-old girl doing her kick-ass karate moves rocked the internet.
The 80-second clip shows little Sophie Wong as she strikes some impressive karate routines and repeats after her mentor with her cute voice.
In just a matter of days, her video has reached millions of views with netizens commenting how charming Sophie is.
According to her mommy, Wendy Wong, 41, “I’m absolutely gobsmacked with the response, I just can’t believe the power of the internet.”
She also explained that the little tot was inspired by her six-year-old brother, Harry adding that she has only been practicing her mix martial arts routine for over a month.
“She loves to learn and copies her brother, and I just wanted her to come and learn about discipline, attention and the concentration that she might need in school,” Wendy said.
The effect of the viral video benefited the Tiny Champions group because the membership has quadrupled in just a period of two weeks, claims martial instructor and owner, Ricky Lam.
“We’re always trying to get the best out of our young people, but for a three-year-old I’ve never seen this type of focus and dedication. Her attitude is fantastic,” he said.
Sophie just joined the club earlier last year and is considered to be the youngest member of Premier’s Tiny Champions class for 3 to 4 year olds in West Yorkshire.
