Adapted from the Guinness World-record’s breaking hit “Got Talent” and hailed as the most undefeated reality TV of all time, comes a new show so mind-boggling, heart-breaking and jaw-dropping in one – all geared to rock your AXN channel this 12th of March (Thursday), 8:05 Philippine time. ASIA’S GOT TALENT had it’s well-attended audition in Manila earlier and is now set to air across 20 territories in Asia.
The show’s pride, (and Our)
In the show’s front-line are a pair of elite hunks with an attitude of a surfer and mind of a bookworm, 2 congenial Filipino hosts who just don’t master the art of hosting, but love it more than a fat kid love a sweet cake. The best buds are destine to shine before a throng of frantic crowd – kudos to our very own Mark Nelson & Rovilson Fernandez for earning the much-coveted spot in an international arena anew.
“The screening process in our selection was never easy, you have to pass through series of stages, and you will be humbled to work with the world’s Superstars (the judges)” – Rovilson F
The two admitted in candid during the AXN PH sponsored event. Such word is a show of humility sans their intimidating profile in moderating a global program “The Duke”, being the former.
The verdict in their Hands
And what is a talent show without an equally gifted juries in the panel? Noted music man David Foster, UK Pop Sensation and former Spice Girl Melanie C, Indonesian Rock Icon Anggun, and Taiwanese-American Pop idol & actor Vanness Wu were summoned to decide the performers’ fate, suffice to say a tough task that would sure to challenge their own brilliance, and the faith among the roster of hopefuls to, note.
Pride are Real, Considered Deserved
Selected press from social media and mainstream were privileged to meet up close & personal with the two extraordinary hosts. To Marc, I asked: “What set apart the Pinoy contestants?
“Beside our questionable gifts in performing, we put strong emotion and passion in everything we do”
“What do you think our performers should improve on?.
CONFIDENCE. We must keep the faith in ourselves for we have what it takes to become a champion. But then again, we need to always strive harder to get there to the top. (Marc N.)
A quick-witted reply. We seemed to ran out of questions, but the two were all-geared to throw theirs, I imagine the program to be fast-paced and enticing as evident to the combo of their intellectualism on one hand and seasoned humor on the other. The partners are far from just having the most chiseled body in the tinseltown, but their characters looms larger than life. No wonder, they fitted well in the show’s “perfect box”.
Hold your breath, Shake your head in disbelief and Be mesmerized…
Mark your calendar for this cable TV date with Marc and Rovilson and witness extraordinary acts and performance that’s never seen before, as new breed of artists compete to take home the winning title. ASIA’s Got Talent is another brainy concept of Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment, co-produced by Fremantle Media, televised every Thursday in AXN.
