English is now becoming a global language, and ISIS terrorist group (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) requires their nurses to be fluent in the language. The Daily Mail just recently featured a job advertisement by ISIS looking for nurses, and one of its requirements: being able to be well-versed in English. It’s actually a strict requirement that even the National Health Services (NHS) in Europe does not even require its workers. It seems like they even have a higher requirement than NHS. But this strict requirement to be fluent in the language is not a surprise anymore. With their goal to dominate the world, ISIS has been using this medium so they can reach everyone. And recently, ISIS has already started their radio broadcast in English (And the announcer even has an American accent, by the way).
The job ad, which also mentioned the opening of a nursing school, requires its applicants to be willing to be deployed in any ISIS territory. In addition, applicants should be between the ages of 18-25, graduated from secondary school with science qualifications, must be able to pass their entrance examination and be able to make a good impression on their interviews.
Aside from their strict requirements, the advertisement also mentioned that after the applicants finish in their nursing school, they are required to work for a full two years in institutions run by the terrorist group. Also, top graduates will have a chance to continue in ISIS medical school where they can be trained to become doctors and surgeons.
But what is the catch with this job that has strict requirements? The ad did not mention how much the compensation or allowance will be, but we know just recently that they are offering $18,750 (around Php843,187.50) to the qualified applicant who will work for them as a manager of the oil refinery. The job as a nurse or as a nurse trainee may not have a compensation as high as an oil refinery manager, but with the strict requirements they are implementing, it may seem like their nursing school will give one of the best training for their future nurses. And with a promise of being able to continue in a medical school if you become of the top graduates is something that seems promising for people who have an ambition to become doctors but have no resources to pursue the course.

But will the training and a chance to go to medical school be worth it?
Just recently, Ryot reported a flesh eating disease that has been affecting thousands of ISIS militants. Known as “Rose of Jericho” or Leishmaniasis in scientific terms, this flesh-eating disease is now like a holocaust which has already affected 100,000 members of this terrorist group. Although this skin disease can be treated easily, it can become fatal. And since the Doctors without borders have withdrawn from the ISIS, the skin disease has not been controlled.
So who will be willing to work as a nurse for ISIS and study in their nursing school? Will a chance to pursue medicine be able to attract as many nurse applicants? Will the Filipino nurses who are underpaid in the country grab this opportunity? Please leave a comment below.
Any hiring of Physical Therapist? Lol. I would probably take the offer as long as they will guarantee my safety as well as my religious freedom. Meaning, they won’t require me to convert to Islam.
