Las Pinas traffic enforcer Raymundo Canpalan and two other traffic enforcers without mission orders are in hot water for allegedly arresting citizens who counterflowed in the SM Southmall area. Jomark Thom Agno, one of the citizens who encountered Canlapan, shared a video of one of the three traffic enforcers in his Facebook account.
In the viral video shared in Pinoy Secret Files, Agno asked one of the traffic enforcers allegedly involved in the arrest to show a mission order, but the traffic enforcer admitted they don’t have it.
Furthermore, Agno accused Canlapan of cursing his father after the latter asked for a mission order. Canlapan immediately left the place in a motorcycle after seeing Agno going down the vehicle. Upon checking, Agno found out that Canlapan was supposed to be on duty from 2pm to 10pm, but left his post at around 7pm.
In the caption of the video, Agno wrote:
Pls help me spread this video until this reach the authorities, media and even the family and children of this Las Pinas traffic enforcer Raymundo Canpalan. Hinuli ako sa tapat ng SM southmall, counterflow daw, hinayaan nila ang mga sasakyan magcounterflow to what they call “buhos”, then all of sudden pag hinto bigla manghuhuli. Ang dami namin nahuli, yung iba naglagay na lang, we tried makipagareglo but this Mr Canpalan wanted more, we can’t give more money kaya tinikitan na lang kami, then my father ask the other enforcer for their mission order…WALA DAW. Ladies and gents, pinagmumura pa tatay ko so I immediately went down kaya lang biglang nagmotor palayo si Canlapan. We tried to report it sa office nila sa Casimiro then nagradyo si Canlapan na umuwi na daw sya (around 7pm), but his duty is from 2pm-10pm. We’re paying our taxes then ipapasweldo lang sa 1 kotong na undertime at irreponsableng traffic enforcer na ito. I’ll make sure you’ll lose your job. Nasisira ang mga matitino dahil sa mga kagaya mo Mr Canlapan.
Agno also posted a video of another victim detailing his experience with the traffic enforcers.
