An orphan from Malita, Davao once had simple dreams and hopes when she was young, but she never thought she would live a life like a princess. Her story, similar to Cinderella’s.
Antoniette Neri Magallanes-Fu was a simple girl with simple ambitions and a loving family. However, when she turned 18, she learned that she was adopted, but that did not stop her from her dreams of becoming a beauty queen and flight attendant when she was younger. She always had the determination to follow her ambitions.
However, her fate has long been decided since she was just a simple girl from Davao. Fame and fortune was always on her side as she was always part of school programs and pageants. When she became a flight attendant for a Middle Eastern airline, she caught the eye of a rich man who was actually the brother of the King of Dubai. But she was in for a much better destiny.
Antoniette then finally met a “simple Chinese man” who religiously courted her. She then eventually fell in love with him who was actually a rich businessman. Now with their four children, Antoniette lives a life most women don’t even dream of. A life of great fortune which was very different from her life in Davao.
Pinay Cinderella gives back
Antoniette’s life of fortune wasn’t always easy. She once lost a daughter in 2006, which inspired her and her husband to build the Francesca Fu Foundation which supports young persons with disability and underprivileged children. Aside from being the Vice-Chairman of this foundation, Antoniette also has helped fund different charities and organizations like the World Lung Foundation.
More than just a philantropist
Antoniette also loves poetry and music. She writes in the Pseudonym Paris88 and has composed songs like Magic, Soulmate and Walang Hanggang Pag-ibig.
Antoniette has really come a long way from her simple life. She is now a dedicated wife and mother to her husband and four children in Australia, and she lives a life every simple girl has dreamed of. Truly a Pinay Cinderella!
