Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana’s name was inspired from her great grandmother’s name, Queen Elizabeth II, her grandfather, Prince Charles and her late grandmother Princess Diana. Charlotte, which was a different version of her grandfather’s name, means feminine or petite. She also has a 2-year-old aunt who has almost the same name, Charlotte Diana, who is the daughter of Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer. The royal baby will officially be called Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
The baby will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
