As the tech company prepares to come up with something special for iPhone addicts this year, several reports and rumors about the Apple iPhone 7 or iPhone 6s handset have emerged online.

The Release Date
Based on a leaked Vodafone email, the Apple iPhone 7 will be unveiled in September this year, specifically on the 25th. This does not come as a surprise since Apple’s release dates have been usually scheduled in September during the past years.
According to a report by Mirror UK, Apple will take advantage of Black Friday sales and the run up to the holiday season.
The Specs
The new iPhone 7 definitely has a lot to offer with the iOS 9 software and an improved processor.
A report by Reuters revealed that rival company Samsung will be building 75% of the smartphone’s new processor. Reportedly called the A9 chip, the new processor will be smaller than old models’ iterations. This will enable engineers to fill more transistors into the silicone.
Although no information has been released about its battery, many believe that the new model’s battery will last longer as iOS 9 comes with a Low Power Mode built in.
Some sources predict that the iPhone 7 will have at least 2GB of RAM.
The Design and Camera
Developer Hamza Sood dropped a clue about the new model’s camera on Twitter.
“iOS 9 is hinting at future device front cameras having: 1080p resolution, 240fps slow mo, panoramic capture, flash,” he wrote on Twitter.
Based on the iOS 9 code, Sood predicts that the upcoming iPhone will have a front-facing camera that will be able to run FaceTime at full 1080p high definition.
Although Samsung and LG now sport curvy screens, the company is unlikely to follow the trend since it had dealt with controversies surrounding bending phones in the past.
This is why many experts believe that Apple will retain its design in the new model.
In terms of screen size, some rumors suggested that the company will unveil three hand sets with varying screen sizes this year.
Also, iPhone 7 will most likely come in different colors, including a gold version.
The Cost
So let’s cut to the chase, how much will Apple’s next iPhone actually cost?
Rumors revealed it will still cost a lot, ranging from $649 to $849.
