Since the story went viral, the man has already given a statement regarding the issue. According to him, a friend who allegedly borrowed his phone at the time of the conversation, was the one who texted the female job applicant.

On the other hand, the female job applicant posted a screenshot of the latest text message of the man telling her to remove her posts about him.
