Many netizens are abuzz about a video of a reckless mom who was caught on camera dropping her helpless baby down the balcony for a man (most likely her husband) to catch.
The unnamed mother is from Astana City, Kazakhstan, The New Paper reports. As shown in the footage, she is seen at the second storey balcony while holding her 18-month-old son over the railing.
A voice saying “1, 2, 3, and the game begins” can be heard in the background. She then lets go of the tot and looks down at her husband who is waiting below with arms outstretched and ready to catch the baby.
Although it’s just one floor away, it is still dangerous because, as seen in the video, while the boy was caught by his father, his momentum still kept him going until he was almost touching the ground.
The horrifying scene was recorded by a concerned neighbor, Akbota Rynzhanova, who then shared it on Facebook where it gained the ire of netizens.
According to The New Paper, Daily Mail thinks that the mother may have been too lazy to walk down the stairs so she chose to hand off her child that way.
