10. Kosovo Refugees by Carol Guzy (2000)
Pulitzer Prize winner Carol Guzy took this photo of Kosovar refugee Agim Shala, 2, as he is passed through a barbed wire fence into the hands of his grandparents at a camp run by the United Arab Emirates in Kukes, Albania. The members of the Shala family were reunited here after fleeing the conflict in Kosovo.
