The lyrics of Bruno Mars’s hit song “Just the Way You Are” say it all. Guys like girls who are “simple” or “just the way they are,” girls who do not wear makeup or try hard to be pretty. But do guys really like simple girls?
A video of a teenage girl challenging guys if they really like “simple girls” has gone viral. Uploaded by Random Photos and Videos on Facebook, the video already has over 23,000 likes and over 5,000 shares as of this writing.
The video starts out with the girl describing simple girls: girls without makeup, those who don’t show any skin. She said guys would usually just ignore and “scroll down” the page if a girl posts a photo of herself without any makeup or a revealing outfit. Then, she questioned why guys love to “like” or “comment” on photos of girls who are fully made up or showing their skin. She posed a challenge to them if they really like “simple girls”
The video earned different comments from its viewers, some agreeing with the girl’s message, while others criticized her appearance.
