Frisking for security is necessary for everyone’s safety, specially in public places like malls where there have been some bomb threats and robberies, we have to be vigilant.
However, some people are just arrogant and think that they should not submit themselves for frisking. Take for example this man who was caught on CCTV who even hit the security guard for doing his job.
On July 13, 2015, the Today in Manila Facebook page posted CCTV footage of an arrogant man who refused to submit himself for frisking. In the 1:48 long video, a man can be seen arguing with a security guard for frisking him at the entrance of a mall. It can also be seen in the video that the man seemed to be raising his voice as the incident caught the attention of onlookers. At the 29th second of the footage, the arrogant man hit the security guard.
The video’s caption reads:
Kuha sa CCTV lalake na ayaw mag pa kapkap sa guwardya, ganito na ba kasama ang ibang tao? porket alam mong mas nakakaangat ka sa buhay pati yung nag tatrabaho ng marangal sasaktan pa natin???
May pamilyang binubuhay yung guwardya na ‘yan respeto naman, Share natin to para matauhan yung mayabang na lalake…
(Caught on CCTV: A man who refuses to undergo frisking. Are some people really this ill-mannered? Just because you think you have a higher social status, you think you can hit someone who is just doing his duty? A security guard who is earning a living for his family. Let us share this video so this arrogant man will come to his senses.)
Too bad for the guy, he was caught on CCTV. Perhaps he’ll learn his lesson and realize that you just can’t hit anyone and get away with it.
