4. Charice Pempengco and Alyssa Quijano
Filipina singer Charice Pempengco, after publicly coming out as a lesbian, was proud to introduce her girlfriend, Alyssa Quijano to the public. Quijano used to be Pempengco’s rival in singing competitions when they were younger. But not until Quijano joined The X Factor Philippines, where Pempengco was a judge, did a love between the two blossomed.
Pempengco, in an interview with Inquirer admitted she and Quijano talk about getting married. Who knows, maybe the next interview will be about their upcoming marriage.
Forever- definition:adverb
1.for all future time; for always.
2.continually
I have a question: I hate to be a pessimist, but in terms of “continuity” and “for all future time” – these relationships would end in death, correct?
Death=mortal.
Mortal=not permanent.
This relationship could be kinda permanent IF they pass on their genes to their offspring. But this is biologically impossible. Hence, there is NO continuity.
In short, #WalangForever. So no, these couples do not make me believe in forever. But that’s just me. 🙂
Believing only in “Forever” biologically through offspring is very shallow. Something “Forever” can manifest in many forms such as legacies and other positive outputs that those couples will be able to do, that even death cannot just erase. Having children is also not a “guarantee” of continuity. So I believe that these couples can achieve forever, that is my opinion, but only time can tell. 🙂
