Netizen Gienny Bhoyet Agdon Galicha posted in the group R.A.C.E.R (Riders Anti-Crime & Emergency Response) photos of a biker who was found lying on the ground without a pulse in Wall 1 Timberland Heights, San Mateo, Rizal. The biker was identified as Arnel Regondola Sanez. Unfortunately, Sanez was found by fellow bikers too late and the medical personnel who attended to him could not revive him anymore.
Initially, Timberland Heights was identified as the accident site. Upon verifying the details with other bikers, however, it has been discovered the actual site is Wall 1.
Timberland Heights is a vast 677-hectare resort town development of Filinvest Land in San Mateo, Rizal. There is even an event called the Timberland Heights King of the Mountain where bikers are challenged to fully seize the steep and snake-like trails that the place has to offer. Wall 1 is located near the premises. Locals have labelled many parts of the development as accident-prone due to the steep hills and blind curves. Sanez was found in a particular spot called “killer siko.” Fellow bikers who found Sanez’s body suspected that Sanez may have overshot while riding his bike.
Biker Efren Pen sent The Dailypedia a screenshot of where the biker was found.
The site has a killer siko with its sharp curve.
Bikers have expressed mixed reactions regarding the issue. Some berated the original netizens who posted the news on several Facebook groups like R.A.C.E.R (Riders Anti-Crime & Emergency Response) and told them to verify their facts first before sharing such news, especially like this incident where the name of the property may have been tainted. On the other hand, other netizens simply expressed their concern to fellow bikers to always take great caution when doing their sport.
