To some, they may have an inkling — if diagnosed with a terminal illness, for example—while to others, it is something they will never see coming. If there is one thing the following pictures will show, it is indeed that the exact moment of death comes quite suddenly.
Almost everyone is familiar with the now-immortalized photo of a bloody Ninoy Aquino sprawled face-down on the airport tarmac, but the particular photo above was taken moments before the more famous shot was captured. Taken by a British or American secret agent who was on-board the same flight, the photo shows a pensive Ninoy bowing his head perhaps in prayer, as the aircraft was preparing to land.
Freddie Mercury was the lead singer of rock band, Queen. Suffering from bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS, Mercury retired from the band in 1991 and spent his final days in his Kensington home in London. The picture above is supposedly the last picture taken of him before succumbing to illness.
