On August 4, 2015, another netizen posted photos and a video of a Nestle chocolate drink, this time, the Chuckie brand, which appears to have solid materials as well.
According to Facebook user Shirlie Jane, who sells food in a school canteen, the Nestle Chuckie chocolate drink she bought from a supermarket had solid materials in it. She was approached by one of the students who said that the drink was already rancid. She looked at the expiration date and saw that it was dated February 2016. She then got a glass to pour out the drink and saw solid materials which were rubber-like. She then checked the other Chuckie drinks in the fridge, opened them and found one more drink which also was rancid and had solid materials in it.
Upon inspection of the boxes, Shirlie also saw that there was yellow mold inside both of the boxes
Shirlie also posted a video to testify that her claim is true.
Shirlie posted another status stating that Nestle Philippines already got a sample of the contaminated Chuckie drinks. She said she will update her wall once she gets the result of Nestle’s investigation.
On a final note, let’s be vigilant in inspecting any food or drink we consume. Regardless of the brand, it pays to always be careful.
