Social media is abuzz over the mysterious story of a beautiful girl in Dangwa Flower Market (known as the Flower Market of Manila) who handed a handsome guy some roses while he and some friends were choosing flowers themselves.
The story first appeared on Facebook page, The UST Files, which detailed that the guys were students of UST who were at Dangwa to buy some flowers. It is not clear whether the guy who received the flowers was the one buying some blooms for his girlfriend or whether he was just accompanying his friends but what everyone knew is that a beautiful girl just came out of nowhere to hand him some large long-stemmed roses, probably the American rose variety.
Based on the post, it appears that the girl was trying to court the guy; though she actually went away as fast as she could after handing him the flowers, making the scene even more mysterious.
A lot of questions were came up after this scene went viral on social media. Who is this Dangwa girl? Does she know the UST guy she had given flowers to? Does he know her? Why did she give him the flowers only to swiftly go away? How could he contact her?
After the photo went viral, a video of the scene was shared on the page a few days later.
What makes Dangwa girl more mysterious is that the viewers were not able to see her face—in the photo or on the video—yet she appears to be a beauty. The fair-skinned lass was also wearing what appears to be a chiffon summer dress or a short romper.
Netizens are trying to determine the identity of Dangwa Girl, even promoting her on social media as the next big star, much like Pastillas Girl of ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime and Yaya Dub of GMA’s Eat Bulaga. If she does become a huge star, on what channel are we going to find her?
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping watch if anything else pops up online.
