In the end, the trick here is to just seal your containers tightly and store them at the correct temperatures so you can get the most out of your groceries. Take note of the expiration dates when buying and try to get the latest due dates (which are usually found at the very back of grocery shelves).
However, we do advise that while these foods are still safe to consume after their expiration date (MOST of time), it’s still better to consume it before that day comes. Common sense takes a simple role here. For example, if you’re not a big cereal eater and you need some for a dish, try to get smaller packets or boxes instead of the usual bigger ones. All it takes is a little more planning and a little more effort when shopping.
