A video of an operations manager allegedly maltreating a BonChon Chicken staff member has surfaced online.
In the controversial CCTV footage uploaded on YouTube by user Concern Ako on September 22, an enraged woman can be seen throwing frozen chicken meat at one of the staff inside the kitchen of the restaurant. The woman then pointed her finger at the staff and threw some more frozen chicken meat at him for the second time. The staff member then picked up the pieces of chicken and returned it to where the woman got it.
The furious woman then appears to continue her rant at the other staff members.
The video of the incident itself (the uploaded video was only a video of the incident itself taken from a computer monitor) had no accompanying audio, making it impossible to decipher the actual conversation.
In the caption of the video, user Concern Ako revealed that the incident has been reported to the Human Resources department of BonChon. Apparently, they (HR) have not taken any action about it, forcing them to release the video.
The management of BonChon Chicken has not released a statement regarding the incident.
