Reading stories of positivity is like a breath of fresh air. Despite all the chaos happening inside and outside of the country, it’s inspiring to know that some people are willing to go out of their way just to do a random act of kindness.
Netizen JB Balicanta was out buying medicine at a Mercury Drugstore when he noticed an old woman who was about to purchase two tablets of Vitamin-B complex. Upon hearing that her medicine cost P36, the old woman immediately informed the sales staff that she will only purchase one tablet. She seemed to mutter that her budget was a bit short.
Balicanta, who witnessed everything, decided to do a random act of kindness by buying the old woman a month’s supply of Vitamin-B complex. After handing the Vitamin-B complex to the old woman, Balicanta immediately left Mercury Drugstore.
Fortunately, the old woman was able to run after Balicanta to thank him for what he did.
The inspiring story, which he posted on Facebook, has over 28,000 shares as of this writing.
