A very graphic video has been circulating online recently. The video shows a man pulling out what appears to be a dead rat from a boy’s belly button. However, after it was completely taken out of the belly button, the rodent-like object quickly decomposed in the man’s hand.
The three-minute clip showed a man’s hand poking inside a youngster’s belly button while his assistant poured a small amount of green-colored water on it.
After a few seconds, he appeared to have caught something. Using his index finger and thumb, he started tugging what appeared to be at first some string.
As he continued to pull on the string, a dark bloodied mass, closely resembling a rat, appeared.
Meanwhile, voices can be heard in the background, chanting what seems to be a prayer in Portuguese.
In the last part of the video, the man was seen trying to pick up the creature after it was pulled out, however, it began to disintegrate in his hands.
According to some viewers, the video may have been filmed in South America because of the Brazilian accent of the people praying, adding that the practice was some kind of exorcism.
As to the authenticity of the footage, netizens were divided with many saying this may be some kind of sick illusion. Others also suggested it was done by self-proclaimed healers on poor and uneducated people who easily believe in such kind of practices.
