Miss Universe 2015 host Steve Harvey initially declared Philippines bet Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach as the first runner-up, with Miss Colombia given the Miss Universe crown. But minutes later, he announced that he made a mistake and clarified that Wurtzbach is the real Miss Universe 2015 winner and not Miss Columbia Ariadna Gutierrez.
The announcement is painfully awkward and shocking but committing such an epic error in front of millions of TV viewers wasn’t bad enough.

And this is definitely not the first major live TV blunder where a host announced the wrong winner.
