With the rise of online dating sites and applications, people nowadays find it easier to start relationships or hook up for casual flings.
However, it could also lead to awkward situations like what happened to Reddit user valleygoat who shared his problem online.
In an article by Bro Bible, valleygoat messaged “Alice” and “Stacy” on November 29 through a dating app called OKCupid. “I am a sad lonely man, and I need a ladyfriend [sic]. They both happened to respond. Awesome!” he said.
So, he first set up a coffee date with Stacy, before making plans with Alice on the same day.
On December 1, valleygoat received a message from Stacy telling him to check his phone.
“At this point, I have no idea what the f*** is going on,” he said. Moments later, he also received a text from Alice also asking him to look at his phone.
Wondering what was happening, the two ladies then told him that they were best friends and were, at that time, sitting next to each other while sending him messages.
He continued to share, “How in the actual f***, out of all the women in the world do I happen to pick 2 women that are best friends, meet each other Tuesday night and ask each other about their f***ing dates on Friday.”
He also imagined what the women must have thought when they figured out they were going out with the same man on the same day only hours apart.
To add to his already embarrassing situation, he realized he posted the story on his main Reddit account. “The women I’m attempting to woo are now going to know my Reddit account, and see all the weird f***ing shit I post and talk about,” he said.
