A video that has gone viral is giving viewers a stomach-churning experience because of its very graphic content.
In the footage, doctors and medical staff surround a wounded man with a large knife sticking out of his right eye.
One of the doctors talks to him, explaining how she will take the blade out when he is ready.
After some time, a medical assistant holds his head straight while another doctor puts a towel on his forehead and holds it in place. The second doctor then grabs the knife and gently tugs at it, but can’t get it out.
The doctor stops for a few seconds before trying again, finally pulling out the knife using all her strength.
Despite the bloody process, the patient did not seem to be in pain. He was awake and aware of what was happening around him. According to LiveLeak, the guy was presumed to have been heavily sedated during the procedure.
No information was reported as to where the incident happened or how the knife was stuck in the man’s eye.
