“It’s none of your f***ing business.” These were the last words of two Chinese factory workers before they were fired on-the-spot by billionaire Terry Gou, the founder and chairman of electronics giant, Foxconn.
According to Next Shark, the unnamed workers were smoking cigarettes in a non-smoking area near the dining hall of the factory in Shenzen when a man approached them and asked them to stop smoking. Not recognizing their big boss, they harshly told him, “Who are you? It’s none of your f***ing business.”
The 65-year-old business tycoon, obviously angered by the employees’ attitude, responded, “If the manager doesn’t fix you, then I will fix you. Foxconn doesn’t need workers like you.” The two were fired right then and there, says People’s Daily Online. The Paper also reports that Gou called the manager’s attention to address the involved workers.
The incident was captured on video and has been circulating on social media sites in China.
Terry Gou founded Foxconn Technology in 1974 in Tucheng, New Taipei, Taiwan. Through the years, the company has grown and now employs almost one million workers, making it the fourth largest information technology firm by revenue. Gou became a very wealthy mogul and reportedly has a net worth of $5.9 billion.
