Bonobos resemble miniature chimpanzees but are less violent than their chimpanzee relatives. They are known to use a certain “love” language instead of aggression when they need to resolve problems with other Bonobos. Interestingly, if these conflicts are between two males or two females, and they usually engage themselves in homosexual acts—which include rubbing their genitals together—to make up.
