OUTSTANDING CAMERA
The main selling point of this unit is its camera because of its Laser Auto-Focus. The rear camera is a 13 MP with f/2.0 aperture with a dual LED real tone flash opposite the laser auto-focus.
Combined with its laser auto-focus technology, the process of taking photos is really fast. We really liked the quality of the images produced by the camera. Sometimes, tap-to-focus will take about a second or two to be done correctly. We also noticed that the closer the subject, the faster it will get in focus.
There are a lot of shooting modes to choose from but does have a manual mode to let experienced photographers tweak photos to their liking. But for the average consumer, the auto mode will really get you the photos that you want.
The front-facing camera of the Zenfone 2 Laser is a 5 MP with an aperture of also f/2.0 and an angle of 85 degrees. Even though it has less megapixels than the rear camera, it still produces great images for selfies and the low light performance of both of the cameras are really good. You may expect some noise in the images but it is very manageable.
Here are some of the shots taken by the front and rear camera. Kindly take note that the images are straight from the camera and no editing (besides from cropping) were done.
