10. Hands-on involvement with several OFW issues
BBM has actively shown his hands-on involvement with a couple of issues involving overseas Filipino workers (OFW). Aside from creating a measure that would provide more lawyers for jailed OFWs as well repatriation of abused OFWs, BBM also urged the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to fast track the correction status of OFWs in Saudi Arabia in 2014 to prevent deportation and filing of charges. He also sought the help of the Chinese ambassador to the Philippines to secure the job of all bullet planting victims at the NAIA airport.
