MANILA, Philippines. A certain Camille Araneta Locson came to her brother’s defense after the latter was accused of harassment by a netizen named Jjoe Jakosalem in her Facebook post. She shared a video which she believes will counter the claims of Jjoe.
According to Camille, her brother Michael Kristoffer and a certain Jancy Uychiat were wrongly accused by Jakosalem of breaking into her car and harassing her. Since Jjoe’s post has gone viral, Camille and Michael have been receiving death threats.
Camille, who described her younger brother as a person raised to be a hardworking and God-fearing Christian, said Michael will never “put himself in a situation such as what he is being accused.”
“Any of us in the family were not a witness to the acts accused to him, but my understanding of the whole situation was blown out of proportion and by misconception [sic],” Camille wrote.
Camille said that the unfair social media attention has completely changed Michael’s life.
In her post, she uploaded an alleged video of the incident that shows a male and a female inside a car who appear to be having fun. It was implied that Jjoe and Michael were the ones in the video.

Camille’s post has earned mixed reactions from netizens. While others believe that the video would be helpful in disproving the claims of Jjoe, other netizens said that the video proves nothing.
“It only shows people laughing. It does not invalidate nor disprove the girl’s claims nor prove that the guys did nothing to her. It’s a weak evidence. And as for her giggling and all the stuff that you mentioned, please read Jjoe’s post. She’s actually friends with one of the guys,” a certain Nat Ermino commented.
As of this writing, Jjoe has already deleted her post and has not issued a statement regarding the video. Here’s a screenshot of Jjoe’s post.
