A poor dog in India was found trapped in a drum filled with hot tar. Animal Aid Unlimited released the video of how they were able to rescue the poor dog from being stuck. The volunteers had to cut the barrel off of the dog because it is completely attached to the surface. The tar has already cooled around the female dog, making it difficult to get her out.
It is believed that the dog was stuck in its spot for several days and said to be “almost dead”. It was already hyperventilating and the tar is completely glued to its fur.
The volunteers spent almost hours soaking the dog with vegetable oil to get rid of the tar on its body. Simultaneously, they fed and gave the dog drink to keep her hydrated and energized for her situation. It is unknown how she was stuck in the drum, but it is believed that the animal was trying to find a shelter.
Humanity Restored
What many had liked about this incident is that people actually helped the dog from its misery and netizens appreciated it.
After hours of rescuing the dog, the locals named her “Asha”, meaning hope in Hindi. Asha is now in good health and in mint condition under the care of Animal Aid Unlimited.
