Marriage is a sacred sacrament bound only for those couples who are willing to stand by each other’s side through thick and thin, and in sickness and in health. However, despite of the vows made when couples become one, there are cases where one party was not able to fulfill his/her promises to their partners.
One example for it is Reynaldo Cebuco, who lives in Purok 7 Poblacion, Sulop, Davao Del Sur. His story was shared by a concerned netizen through Matalinong Matsing’s Facebook page.
According to the story sender, Cebuco works with his two children – an eleven year-old girl and an eight year-old boy, who are both in third grade in Sulop Elementary School.
Back then, Cebuco works as a welder but stopped when he got diabetes – which is also the main reason why he became blind. His wife left their home after learning Cebuco’s situation and left them on their own.
The people of the internet gave sympathy to the poor father’s condition. They also admired how bright his kids smile despite of their situation. Also, they hoped that someone with a golden heart makes an action to help the family survive.
