It may be for a better purpose
Head’s up guys and girls! Vetements, an insanely overpriced clothing line, is partnering with Levi’s for a pair of jeans with a zipper attached to the butt area.
The reason for this may sound a little frisky. In an interview, it was said that the unusual design can now allow you to bare your entire butt in just a few seconds. This solves the universal problem of the people who likes to do ‘it’ at the club, in the park, and err.. in the office.
Golden price
With the new innovation of the two jeans giant, the price of their new pants can cost you an actual leg and arm. The new designer pair initially costs $1,870 (93,500 pesos). Imagine?
Vetements’ collab with Levi’s comes from their Spring 2017 Collection, where they joined forces with 18 more brands, including Brioni, Schott, Comme des Garçons Shirt, Reebok, Canada Goose, Dr. Martens, Alpha Industries, Eastpak, Lucchesse and Manolo Blahnik.
According to Demna Gvasalia, designer, in an interview with Vogue,
“We thought we’d go straight to the brands who make all these things best, and ask to do something in our way with each one. The people who work at Vetements don’t really wear designer fashion—a lot of these are the labels they wear all the time.”
The controversial set of jeans can now be bought on sites such as Luisaviaroma, Matches, SSense and MyTheresa.
